Through the delivery of public health care, the Public Health Department promotes and protects the health of the community and prevents disease, injury and disability. The Public Health Programs include: California Children’s Services, Child Health and Disability Prevention Program, Child Passenger Safety, Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention, Communicable Disease Control, Immunization Program, Maternal, Child, Adolescent Health Program, Baby & Me Nurse Home Visiting, and Tobacco Prevention.
Public Health Services include: Childhood & Adolescent Immunization Clinics; Seasonal Flu Clinics; HIV Testing, Pregnancy Testing and TB Testing.
