Interfaith Council of Amador is a charitable non-profit corporation founded in 1996 by local churches and social service organizations. The primary purpose of this council is to operate The Interfaith Food Bank. Our Mission is to distribute food to hungry people as an important step in restoring human dignity and potential.The Interfaith Food Bank collects commodities in an effort to combat hunger in Amador County. We accept donations of food from individuals as well as all the grocery stores in Amador County.
